Home Health Care
BAYADA's home health care services provides short-term recovery care services to help with rehabilitation after an illness, injury, hospital stay, or surgery, or to help manage a chronic medical condition with the goal of preventing and unnecessary hospitalization. Home health care services may include home nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech-language pathology.
Skilled Nursing Services
BAYADA's skilled nursing home care services are for children, adults, and seniors living with a chronic illness, injury, or disability. Our nurses can provide short-term recovery care or serious, long-term medical care.
Personal Care and Companionship
Personal care and companionship services generally refers to non-medical assistance for adults and seniors with activities such as personal self-care, household support, meal preparations, companionship for those who need help with everyday tasks due to a health condition or aging.
Hospice Care
Hospice services are provided by a team of specialists who assess the patient’s needs and provide the right care to help ensure each patient’s end-of-life journey is comfortable and peaceful.

What is long-distance caregiving?
By definition, a long-distance caregiver is someone who lives more than an hour away from a person who needs care. Caregiving can take on many forms. From financial management, to arranging in-home care to providing respite, primary care, or else planning for emergency care, long-distance caregivers help ensure that older relatives and loved ones receive the care they need to be as healthy, safe, and happy as possible.
How do I find an international, live-in caregiver?
BAYADA makes it easy to find and schedule qualified and competent in-home care for your loved ones living in a different country. How do I stay updated on my loved one’s care?
The home health care team assigned to your loved one(s) will communicate care status updates regularly via telephone and/or e-mail. Well-documented routine assessments will be provided via e-mail. If you have questions or concerns, your direct points of contact will be either your assigned Clinical Manager (the one who will oversee your loved one’s care plan and care team members) or your assigned Client Services Manager (the one who manages the home care schedule.)
How do I schedule care for my loved ones living abroad?

How do I find someone to help care for my parents/family members living in another country?
BAYADA operates and has partnership connections with top home health care providers in select countries. The home services offered in each country may vary, as will the hours of availability.

How does international home health care work?
Before we visit your loved one’s home for a care visit, an initial assessment will be performed. Afterwards, BAYADA’s local, in-country, clinical team and the treating physician will work in conjunction with immediate family members to determine the best plan of care for your parent. This plan of care will outline specific services that will be provided to your parents.
From there, our team will then determine which care provider is best suited to your loved one’s needs, assign care providers, and schedule an appointment for an initial visit. If your family member has special requirements, BAYADA’s Health Care Client Coordinator will include this in documentation for future visits.
