Adult Care and Medicare-certified Visits
The pride our caregivers bring to their work is evident in the quality of care they deliver to our clients. Helping others achieve independence, stay safe, and enjoy a better quality of life at home is a calling that comes from within. It’s just who we are, and serving others is our highest priority and greatest joy.
The best-matched clinicians for the best outcomes
At BAYADA, relationships and clinical excellence go hand in hand. That’s what makes our one-on-one home health services so special for clients and so rewarding for clinicians. Matching you with nurses, therapists, and aides who have the skills and expertise to meet your needs is just the beginning. We take the time to consider those who would be a great fit for you personally, because making that right connection is key to improving outcomes and providing the best experience for you.
What are Medicare-certified home health services?
Short-term home health care services are prescribed by a physician to help with rehabilitation after an illness, injury, hospital stay, or surgery, or to help manage a chronic medical condition with the goal of preventing an unnecessary hospitalization. This care is provided through one-hour home visits from specialized clinicians and continues until recovery goals have been met. Episodes of care typically last between 30 and 60 days, but can be renewed if medically necessary. Home health care visits are generally covered 100 percent by Medicare through the Medicare home health benefit or by private insurance.
How we can help
When you choose BAYADA, you can be confident you’ll receive clinical care that will be expertly delivered in collaboration with your physician. A BAYADA Nurse first visits your home to evaluate your needs, and then we work with your physician to develop your customized care plan. It may include visits from:
- Nurses, for medical needs
- Physical therapists (PTs), to help restore mobility
- Occupational therapists (OTs), to improve the ability to perform everyday activities
- Speech language pathologists (SLPs), to help with speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing issues
- Medical social workers (MSWs), to help a client and their family connect with community resources
- Home health aides (HHAs), to provide personal care assistance when applicable
Your BAYADA clinicians are part of a larger team of dedicated home health care professionals who all play an important role in delivering the best client experience possible.
