We Stand Together

Together, we are building the skills and understanding required to be more effective allies to each other and to people in our communities who deserve equitable access to best-in-class health care.

We Are All Connected

Everyone at BAYADA is guided by a light within that connects us to a shared higher purpose. This connection compels us to cultivate an environment where all are included, welcomed, and valued. No matter who you are, where you are from, or what your beliefs are, you belong here.

The BAYADA Way in Action

Our company philosophy and guidepost, The BAYADA Way, has always been deeply aligned with DEIB values, so our formalized commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging is a natural step in our journey. To further strengthen this commitment, we partnered with The Diversity Movement in 2020 to elevate our DEIB endeavors and become the most trusted and inclusive home health care provider.

What makes BAYADA's DEIB Unique?

Helping people has been and will always be our singular purpose. At the heart of everything we do is a strong desire to support the safety, health, and happiness of our clients, and our ability to break down barriers between our clients and the care they need has been nationally awarded. While we are honored to receive such recognition, we view these accomplishments as an expression of our commitment to our clients, teams, and communities.

What Sets BAYADA's Services Apart?

BAYADA offers inclusive home care for people of all backgrounds, identities, ages, and cultures. From compassionate care for aging populations to LGBTQIA+ friendly home health care services, our clients always come first.

Every client we serve has their own diverse needs and preferences. We respect every client’s unique identity by tailoring all our services to honor the cultural, religious, and personal beliefs of those we serve.

Communication is key in providing effective care. We strive to overcome language barriers by providing interpretation services and multilingual resources. Our diverse language services help ensure that all clients and their families can fully understand their care plans and participate in decision-making processes.

Our care planning process involves active collaboration with clients and their families. We value client input and create personalized care plans based on client preferences to promote independence, dignity, and well-being.

We offer spiritual care through our hospice services and provide clergy members or spiritual counselors to support patients and their families in accordance with their needs and personal faith.

Inclusive Workplace Culture

BAYADA Home Health Care has six Employee Resource Councils (ERCs) that inspire and oversee BAYADA’s DEIB programs. Each council hosts learning, development, and networking events and coordinates volunteer opportunities throughout the year to engage all employees in DEIB program initiatives. Our ERCs play an important role in promoting a positive work culture where every team member feels valued, respected, and empowered.

Continuous Growth & Development

We offer education opportunities to promote understanding, collaboration, and career development among our employees. Specifically, we have created employee resources where all team members can access a wide variety of top-notch training and learning resources. Highlights include:
