The origins of BAYADA Home Health Care date back to 1975, when J. Mark Baiada opened his first office in Philadelphia, PA, with a vision that everyone should be entitled to a safe home life, with comfort, independence, and dignity. Mark always felt a higher sense of purpose toward his clients, and he believed that when you entered someone's home, you entered their lives. Finding like-minded professionals with the same sense of purpose and passion for helping others has been the foundation of our work and the more Mark found, the more the company grew.
Four decades later, BAYADA has made the unprecedented transition to a nonprofit organization, and grown from those humble beginnings to become a national leader in the home care industry, with more than 360 service offices in 23 states, with locations in Germany, India, Ireland, New Zealand, and South Korea.
Today, BAYADA provides the highest quality care in the home to children and adults of all ages, spanning every level of care—from complex, high-tech care to just being there. Every day in every home, that care is delivered with compassion, excellence, and reliability – our BAYADA core values.
