FAQs
Everything you need to know about eligibility, enrollment, and coverage—so you can focus on what matters most.
How do I enroll my child in services?
Call BAYADA and a compassionate team member will guide you through the process of determining eligibility. Alternatively, you may request services through your child’s health plan, which may reach out to BAYADA on your behalf.
We can work with your child’s doctor to obtain a referral, confirming a diagnosis of autism, if you do not yet have one. We will also check your insurance eligibility and ensure that your family resides within a geographic area that BAYADA Behavioral Health serves.
Once all eligibility requirements are met, we will then match you to a BCBA® who will work with you and your family to assess your loved one's needs to develop an individualized plan of treatment.
What are the payment options?
BAYADA will help you navigate your options by working directly with your insurance provider to determine eligibility for benefits.
It is likely that services for individuals with autism will be covered by a medical insurance provider, Medicaid, or TRICARE. Coverage for autism and ABA therapy varies on a state-by-state basis.
Private pay is also accepted.
