In 2018-2019, BAYADA Founder and Chairman Mark Baiada transitioned his company into a nonprofit organization to preserve its guiding principles known as The BAYADA Way®. In 2018, he distributed a personal $20 million gift to all employees in gratitude for helping to build BAYADA’s legacy.
Now led by his son, CEO David Baiada, since 2017, BAYADA is recognized as a top employer and a leader in the movement to transform home health care so that millions can receive the essential services they need.

Mark Baiada launches the business that will become BAYADA Home Health Care on Walnut Street, Philadelphia, in 1975. He is 27 years old.
Ann and Mark Baiada at a 1980s BAYADA Regatta in Fairmount Park, Philadelphia. This annual event continues to attract athletes from far and wide as the premier para-rowing competition for people with disabilities.
Ann and Mark Baiada on their 2005-2006 cross-country bus tour, visiting 124 BAYADA service offices in 15 states to help spread The BAYADA Way®. Mark will kick off BAYADA’s next 50 years with a cross-country Listening Tour in 2025.
