BAYADA earns top rankings in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and New Jersey based on employee satisfaction

Philadelphia, PA (Aug. 18, 2026) – BAYADA Home Health Care, a global nonprofit leader in home health care, has been named by Forbes to its 2026 list of America’s Best Employers by State. Driven directly by positive feedback from employees, BAYADA earned a spot on the list in three states:

  • Pennsylvania: 10th

  • North Carolina: 26th

  • New Jersey: 59th

What Does It Take to Make
Forbes’ Best Employers by State List?

Only 1,365 employers across the US made the list, and BAYADA was one of them. Forbes partnered with research firm Statista to survey more than 245,000 employees who work for a company of at least 500 people. Survey respondents from all 50 states and Washington, DC, were able to recommend their employer on a scale of zero to 10 and rated their workplace on:

  • Wages and benefits

  • Management style

  • Company reputation

  • Flexibility

  • Career advancement

Forbes does not allow companies to pay to participate or be selected.

First-Hand Accounts from BAYADA Nurses

Ashley-Nokomis Travis, a clinical associate in BAYADA’s Philadelphia Pediatrics office, began her career with BAYADA through the Nurse Residency Program. Since then, she has grown through roles as a field nurse and Home Intensive Care Unit® nurse before moving into her current position, where she supports nurses and helps care for children and their families.

"I started at BAYADA as a nurse resident, and I began to believe in myself when other people believed in me. The people here saw potential in me, encouraged me to take on new challenges, and supported me every step of the way. That support helped me grow into a stronger nurse and clinical associate, and it continues to shape the care I provide to children and their families."

He’s currently pursuing dual master’s degrees to earn his MSN and MBA.

“I’m proud to work for BAYADA because The BAYADA Way aligns so closely with what I believe health care should be. I’m proud to be part of an organization that puts people first, supports its employees, and is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients, families, and communities.”

"After 25 years as a nurse, here’s one thing I wish everyone knew about working for BAYADA: You can make your own schedule and still work with high-tech patients and learn a lot of amazing skills. BAYADA has always been about growth. From the minute I walked in the door in 2009, there was always a growth opportunity out there."
