Our Pediatric Hiring Requirements

Great care begins with the right caregiver

At BAYADA Pediatrics, we pride ourselves on hiring the best of the best. That’s why we not only hire nurses with a passion for kids, but ones who also have excellent training, experience, and the commitment to ongoing skill-building and education. Rest assured, all of our care team members:

• Have extensive background investigations, several work reference checks, and multiple interviews
• Complete age-specific clinical exams
• Complete a thorough clinical lab evaluation and demonstration
• Demonstrate appropriate skills including emergency response upon hire and annually
• Have extensive age, skill, and diagnosis-specific training
• Complete an orientation and have regular supervisory visits
• Maintain CPR certification
• Maintain a record of ongoing in-service training
• Comply with state specific health requirements
