Work Less Than 30 Hours a Week

Your benefits help you take care of yourself and your family and feel better about where you work. We’re proud to offer benefits that may not be available through our competitors.

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) and requirement to have health care coverage haven’t gone away. Neither has the penalty for not having coverage. And BAYADA’s coverage is here to stay, regardless of what happens with the ACA. We’re committed to offering affordable plans that provide you with coverage for basic health care services. These plans include free checkups to keep you healthy, and discounts for the pharmacy, dental, and vision services you and your family need.

If you work an average of 30 hours a week over a three-month period (it must be three months in a row), you may be able to choose from additional plans that offer even more benefits! The Benefits office will notify you if you qualify to sign up for more benefits.

And after one year of employment and at least 1,000 hours of service, you can participate in a 401(k) plan that will help you save for your retirement. You’ll also be eligible for a matching contribution of 35% of the first 4% you contribute to the plan. You’ll be notified by Prudential, our 401(k) partner, when you’re eligible to sign up.
