White Shoes FAQs

Q. What is White Shoes and do I have to attend?

A. White Shoes is an annual continuing education program designed specifically for clinical leaders. Attendance is required for all clinical managers; we also extend an invitation to clinical associates, clinical liaisons, and educators. All participants must have attended White Cap training in order to qualify to register for White Shoes.

Q. How do I sign up?

A. We are excited to continue using the BAYADA University Learning Management System (LMS) for White Shoes registration this year.

  • If you are required to attend, you will receive an email with a link to the BAYADA University LMS and White Shoes 2016 will appear on your Learning Plan. Click White Shoes 2016 to complete your registration for this event. Please read all of the information within the White Shoes 2016 description.
  • Registration is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
  • It is important to note that registrations are managed on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you are not flexible regarding your date selection, it is important to register for the event as soon as possible.
  • Registration will be open starting July 18th and closes August 26th. In the event that you need to cancel or make changes to your registration after registration closes, contact BAYADA University immediately at bayadauniversity@bayada.com.
  • Change requests cannot be guaranteed, and offices may be charged for cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the event.

Q. How do I manage travel arrangements?

A. Once you have registered for the actual White Shoes event, you will receive an email confirmation from BAYADA University containing a link to the White Shoes Travel Guide.

  • You will click on the link, and be guided through the room reservation process.
  • Your room will be direct-billed to BAYADA. However, you must present a credit card for incidentals at time of check in.
  • Air and ground transportation to the hotel must be self-managed and expensed. It is important to consult with your director prior to confirming travel arrangements.

Q. I registered for White Shoes, am I automatically signed up for my specialty practice training?

A. These events are managed and set up separately in BAYADA University so require a separate registration. If you are required to attend the Adult or Pediatric Clinical Leader Day, these events are separate line items on your Learning Plan in BAYADA University. If you have any questions regarding the specialty practice training dates, please reach out to the program mangers listed below:
