BAYADA Telehealth Medical Services Keep You Well and Connected From the Safety and Comfort of Home

During the COVID-19 national emergency, it’s important to keep seniors safe at home. However, there’s no need for your medical care to be interrupted. If you are a Medicare beneficiary, BAYADA Telehealth Services can keep you connected with a health care provider—for anything from annual primary care to managing even the most complex conditions and health care needs.

Will I have to pay anything for this service?

Your Medicare coinsurance and deductible would generally apply to these services. However, the HHS Office of Inspector General (OIG) is providing flexibility for healthcare providers to reduce or waive cost-sharing for telehealth visits paid by federal healthcare programs. BAYADA Physician Services may choose to reduce or waive certain amounts due for services.

Our Telehealth services can offer:

  • Private, virtual primary care visits
  • Symptom assessment and management for acute and non-acute issues
  • Medication management consultation to assist with prescription needs, changes, or refill orders

Our Telehealth cannot offer:

  • Intensive diagnostic testing and follow-up
  • Testing or diagnosis for Coronavirus (although symptoms can be addressed and discussed)

How does telehealth work? It’s easy!

  1. Call 267-515-5110 between the hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, to get started. Ask questions and schedule an appointment with a health care provider—either a doctor, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant. We will coordinate your Medicare coverage for you
  2. Your health care provider will email or text you a link to a “Zoom” clinical room.
  3. Simply click on the link at your scheduled appointment time, and you will be face-to-face with your health care provider, seeing and hearing each other on a screen.

What about Coronavirus?

Our Telehealth Services are prepared to manage even your most complex health care needs during this Coronavirus (COVID-19) health care emergency. Our number one priority is your safety and well-being, as well as our staff and the communities we serve.

Your remote health care provider will be educated with the latest clinical information to recognize signs and symptoms of COVID-19, persons at risk, and measures to take to prevent the spread of disease. If needed, they will refer you for immediate care.
