This year’s Awards Weekend theme is BAYADA’s Got Talent—because we sure do! A play on the popular NBC television talent show, the series celebrates creativity and talent by showcasing unique performers from across the country. The “Got Talent” format holds the Guinness World Record as the most successful reality TV format of all time, airing in 186 countries.
We all know that people are at the heart of BAYADA’s success, and that only by attracting and developing talented people and teams can we achieve our vision and actualize our ReMarkable future! So, as we gather together in Charlotte, NC, in May and shine the spotlight on our talent—our Heroes of the Year, Leadership Award recipients, and tenured employees—we can say loud and proud that “BAYADA’s Got Talent!”
Fun Money (Roommates), Cruising for Cash (Car Pool), and Sunday Brunch Ca$harrow_right
Spending money can be picked up at the BAYADA Welcome Desk at the Charlotte Convention Center, A Concourse, Friday (5:00 pm to 9:00 pm) and Saturday (8:00 am to 12:00 noon). You must present your name tag to receive ANY CASH MONIES. After those times, email Anita Palmer.
This year with employees staying in 11 different hotels, each employee attending Awards Weekend 2018 will receive Sunday Brunch Ca$h ($25), when they register at the BAYADA Welcome Desk. Employees may enjoy breakfast at their leisure with friends and on Sunday, May 20. See your hotel listings, as most hotels offer some form of dining.
Director Meetings: Dress code is business attire.
We know that many offices have been asked to dress in the theme of their specific Divisional Award Luncheon—which we encourage! If you decide not to dress in theme, business casual attire is appropriate.
- Women: Slacks, sweaters, pant suits, dresses, or skirts
- Men: Slacks and shirts; ties and jackets are optional
Dinner and Dancing: The attire for Saturday evening’s festivities is “easy, breezy, nice casual clothing or cocktail party attire—no dressier.” Note: The rooms in which we are having dinner and dancing are cement floors, which may be tough on heels!
Based on your registration, all color-coded meal tickets for the All Director Meeting Lunch, the Divisional Awards Luncheons, and Dinner/Dance will be in your name tag pouch. The Charlotte Convention Center, and hotels where award luncheons will be held, have been given all your meal selections, as well as any food allergies/restrictions. Carefully remove your meal ticket from your name tag pouch and present it to the wait staff once you are seated at any meal event.
BAYADA ROCKS! Dinner/Dance-Assigned Seatingarrow_right
Our BAYADA Rocks Dinner/Dance will be held in the Charlotte Convention Center, Hall B. Doors open at 7:00 pm. Dinner will begin at 7:30 pm, followed by dancing from 9:00 pm to 12:00 midnight. Tables will be numbered and seats assigned. Please locate your seat on the Seating Charts. Seating Charts will be on display beginning at 5:00 pm outside the Crown Ballroom and Hall B, and will remain up throughout dinner.
PLEASE SIT IN YOUR ASSIGNED SEAT. Taking someone else’s seat causes embarrassment and confusion. Please do not remove the numbers or chairs from your tables during dinner, as some people will be arriving late.
Welcome Desk and Giveawaysarrow_right
All employees attending the Awards Weekend must check in at the Welcome Desk to receive their name tag, meal tickets, Sunday Brunch Ca$h, FUN money, and car pool money.
