From Kosovo to the
Schuylkill River in Philadelphia, Bayada Nurses is active in a number
of humanitarian efforts.
- Bayada Regatta:
Held annually for 20 years in Philadelphia, the Bayada Regatta is
an all-disabled regatta, sponsored exclusively by Bayada Nurses. This
popular, adaptive rowing event features rowers from around the world.
- Kosovo Relief:
Bayada Nurses sponsored a humanitarian trip for 10 registered nurses
to Kosovar refugee camps. This effort was coordinated by the International
Medical Corps.
- The Nightingale’s
Song: Bayada Nurses was a sponsor of the Nightingale’s Song, an
exhibition at the Philadelphia Museum of Art that recognized and honored
the nursing profession.
