39th Annual BAYADA Regatta

Kelly Drive to be closed August 18 from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.

In an effort to keep the rowers, volunteers, and spectators safe during the BAYADA Regatta, Kelly Drive will be closed to all through traffic from Fountain Green Drive to the Strawberry Mansion Bridge. Because of the road closure, there will only be one main entrance on Kelly Drive at the Strawberry Mansion Bridge.

Individuals coming from the south (New Jersey and Philadelphia) will be detoured at Fountain Green Drive through Fairmount Park and will exit onto Kelly Drive at the Strawberry Mansion Bridge. Others may choose to exit at Kelly Drive South, off of westbound Interstate 76. Please note: Martin Luther King Drive (West River Drive) is closed on weekends.

Parking

The first section nearest St. Joseph’s University Boathouse and the launch area along Kelly Drive, including the parking lot, will be reserved for rowers and clubs. A parking lot on Kelly Drive will be reserved for volunteers and spectators. There will be signs noting the reserved parking.
