What is the ASPIRE Program?
As Bayada Nurses continues
to grow, so does our need for qualified clinical leaders. We must recruit
more and more nurses who are capable of accepting additional responsibilities
as opportunities arise. The ASPIRE Program is a pilot program
in our North Carolina offices that provides nurses with constant dialogue
with their supervisors, a dialogue to uncover, develop and grow each
nurse's talents and career. We want to offer every nurse the chance
to grow, develop and become leaders in their field. Isn't that what
you've always dreamed of?

Virginia Steelman, RN, BSN, Area Director
"My journey with Bayada Nurses started in 2000 as a part-time field nurse. At that time, I never would have guessed I'd be the area director of four service offices today! It has been quite a journey, moving from field nurse to Nursing Supervisor to Staff Supervisor to Director and then to Area Director. I love nursing because I enjoy helping people. Now, in my role as director, I still find myself in a position to help, I enjoy supervising the office and field staff because I like to see each person be able to grow and change. Bayada Nurses provided me with the tools, coaching and talent development I needed to make this happen."

Tyke Crawford, RN, Clinical Support Specialist
"My career with Bayada Nurses started over 10 years ago as a certified nursing assistant. The flexible scheduling with Bayada Nurses was perfect for me as I continued my education towards obtaining my BSN degree. After working as a field nurse and then a nursing supervisor, I have now been promoted to a clinical support specialist. In this role, I help mentor other nursing supervisors and I play a part in monitoring our quality assurance. I am also part of Bayada Nurses' exciting Rehabilitation program- Bayadability. As a member of the Bayadability team, I consult with Rehabilitation clients and troubleshoot with their team members. Ten years ago I would have never dreamed that today I'd be working for Bayada's corporate clinical team."

Marie Blessington, RN, Clinical Support Manager
"I have held many positions at Bayada Nurses-Starting as a Home Health Aide while attending nursing school. I have worked in the field caring for both adult and pediatric clients and in an office as a Nursing Supervisor. I am currently a Clinical Support Manager-providing support and mentorship to my peers. Bayada Nurses gave me the chance to try all types of positions to find the one that fit me best!"

Latresha Bennett, RN, Nursing Supervisor
"I started with Bayada Nurses as a field nurse with high-tech tracheostomy and ventilator clients. It was hard to leave my clients when I decided to work in the office. However, I quickly realized how many lives I could touch by increasing my level of responsibility. I didn't have to leave my clients after all- I merely support them in a different capacity. I currently work as a nursing supervisor with the Monroe, NC office. I manage the clinical aspects of our clients' care and serve as a support for our field nurses. I enjoy being part of a team-oriented office that always places the needs of our clients first. I love it!"
