Union, NJ
- Bayada Nurses is pleased to announce the opening of a new office in
Union. Serving all of Union County, the office is located in the Five
Points Shopping Center (324 Chestnut Street, Suite 13 C/D) and will be
under the direction of Nilda Marin, RN, MPA, MSN.
The office will provide a broad spectrum of home care services-including
long-term care and personal care assistance for eligible residents of
Union County. The office also features bilingual staff members who are
fluent in both Spanish and English. Future services will include companions,
skilled care, and staffing to health-care sites. The office will also
offer training for people interested in becoming a certified home health
aide. Medicaid cases will be accepted-as well as self-pay and private
insurance cases. Referrals are accepted 24 hours a day.
The decision to expand to Union County was made after other Bayada Nurses
offices began receiving an increasing number of referrals from the region.
"There is a tremendous need for home health care services in Union County-especially
among the elderly population," says Marin. "Union County residents will
soon learn why our employees are called Heroes on the Home Front."
Marin has more than 11 years of home care experience-including working
with a Medicare-certified agency prior to joining Bayada Nurses. A Registered
Nurse (RN), Marin received her nursing license in 1979. She has a master's
degree in Public Administration and received a master's degree in nursing
from Kean University in May 2001.
Founded in 1975 by J. Mark Baiada, Bayada Nurses is an independently owned
home health care agency that employs more than 6,000 RNs, LPNs, home health
aides, and therapists working from more than 65 offices in 11 states.
