John C. Lincoln Health Network Transitions Home Care Services to Nationally-Recognized Bayada Nurses

October 14, 2004 — Phoenix, AZ — Bayada Nurses, a nationally-recognized leader in the home care industry, is pleased to announce expansion into the state’s capitol city with a new office located at 706 E. Bell Road in Suite 101. The growth comes with the recent acquisition of John C. Lincoln (JCL) Home Health from the John C. Lincoln Health Network. The new Bayada Nurses office is under the experienced management of Director Linda Palmer-Wallace, RN.

Palmer-Wallace, a long-time Phoenix resident and JCL home care manager, is looking forward to continuing the JCL community-focused tradition of providing the best home care services to current and new clients. “With the resources of Bayada Nurses, we can bring a customer focus and quick response time to both patient and physician needs”, notes Palmer-Wallace. Kim Hall, RN, skilled nursing manager shares in the enthusiasm: “We wanted to better serve this area and ensure that all Phoenix area residents have the opportunity to learn why our nurses are referred to as Heroes on the Home Front”.

A new office was also recently opened in Tempe, at 4820 South Mill Ave in Suite 203, under the expert management of Sam Casias. Together, these two offices will serve the East and West Valley, including Maricopa, Pinal, Yavapai and Gila counties. Bayada Nurses already has two successful offices in Tucson. The Phoenix acquisition expands Bayada Nurses presence in the Grand Canyon State to a total of four offices.

The Arizona offices are state licensed, Medicare certified and provide skilled, intermittent visits by nurses and both home health aides and certified nursing assistants. Additionally, disciplines are provided in physical, occupational, and speech therapies. The offices accept payment through Medicare, private pay and most insurance carriers.

Bayada Nurses offers job opportunities for home health professionals choosing the benefits of working with patients on a one-to-one basis and the chance to work close to home. “We offer meaningful work with flexible hours for those who want a change from the frantic pace of working in a facility”, says Palmer-Wallace. “We also provide unsurpassed quarterly and annual recognition programs to honor nurses and aides who exemplify the Bayada Nurses mission of being skilled, caring and reliable.”

Founded in 1975 by J. Mark Baiada, Bayada Nurses is an independently owned home health care company employing more than 10,000 skilled and paraprofessionals in over 100 offices in 15 states.
