Bayada Nurses’ New Recruiting Office Brings Local Job Opportunities

October 20, 2004 — Philadelphia, PA — Bayada Nurses, Home Care Specialists, is pleased to announce the opening of a new recruiting office in Northeast Philadelphia. The office is located in the Smylie Times building at 2607 Rhawn Street, Suite 100B.

“To better serve the residents in the area we felt it would make sense to have a dedicated local recruitment office”, says Megan Miller, director of the Philadelphia adult office. “The rapid growth of the home health industry affords us the ability to provide wonderful opportunities for nurses, home health aides and therapists.”

According to the Department of Labor and Statistics, opportunities for RNs are expected to grow faster than any other health care profession through the year 2020.

The benefits of working in home health care include one-on-one patient care, flexible schedules, the ability to work close to home, and the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives. In addition, Bayada Nurses offers scholarships and continuing education programs, competitive pay and earned benefits such as health and life insurance and paid vacation time.

“We have great opportunities available for experienced adult and pediatric nurses and home health aides who are looking for meaningful work, flexible hours, and a switch from the frantic pace of working in other health care environments”, says Judy Reinke, MSW and personnel recruiter. “We also provide unsurpassed quarterly and annual recognition programs to honor nurses and aides who exemplify Bayada Nurses’ mission of being skilled, caring and reliable.”

Bayada Nurses also provides company-sponsored training and continuing education programs. Additionally, Marion Fiero, director of the Philadelphia pediatrics office, recently awarded five employees with scholarships enabling them to attend a conference of pediatric health care professionals. “I’m thrilled to offer these wonderful employees the opportunity to further develop their skills in delivering high-quality, innovative, and cost-effective professional nursing excellence”, says Fiero.

Founded in 1975 by J. Mark Baiada, Bayada Nurses is an independently-owned home health care company employing more than 10,000 nurses, aides and therapists in over 100 offices in 15 states.
