Bayada Nurses Announces New Service Director in Salisbury Office

Salisbury, NC - Bayada Nurses is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Ney, RRT, as the new service director of the Bayada Nurses Salisbury, NC office.

Established in April 2001, the Salisbury office provides a broad spectrum of home health care services, including skilled nursing, therapy, rehabilitation, and personal care to residents in Rowan, Stanly and Montgomery counties, as well as the city of Kannapolis. The office is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), approved by Medicaid, and licensed by the state of North Carolina. In addition to providing high-quality home care services, the office is continually seeking qualified staff to join its team of RNs, LPNs, Home Health Aides, and therapists.

Ney has many years of experience in hands-on care as a Respiratory Therapist. Ney worked as a Respiratory Therapist in the Intensive Care Unit at Forsyth Medical Center and has also worked in long-term care with high-tech clients. In 2001, Ney graduated from High Point University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and decided to combine his health-care experience and business education to fulfill his desire to help others. Most recently, Ney worked as a Staff Supervisor for Bayada Nurses's Winston-Salem skilled nursing branch.

Ney replaces Virginia Steelman, RN, BSN, who transferred to the Charlotte skilled nursing office in March 2001. Steelman replaced Melinda Phillips, who was promoted to Division Director and oversees offices in the western part of North Carolina and maintains an office in Salisbury, NC.

Founded in 1975, Bayada Nurses is an independently owned home health care agency that employs more than 6,000 nurses, home health aides, and therapists working from more than 70 offices in 11 states.
