of Prussia, PA - Bayada Nurses is pleased to announce the appointment
of Karen Johnson as the new director of the Bayada Nurses King of Prussia
office.
Established in June 1991, the King of Prussia office provides a broad
spectrum of home health care services, including skilled nursing, therapy,
rehabilitation, personal care and home health aides to residents in
Chester and Montgomery counties. The office is accredited by the Joint
Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), certified
by Medicare, and licensed by the state of Pennsylvania. In addition
to providing high-quality home care services, the office is continually
seeking qualified staff to join its team of RNs, LPNs, Home Health Aides,
and therapists.
A resident of Chester County, Johnson has many years of experience in
home health care. Most recently, she was Vice President of Operations
for HomeNurse, Inc. in Wayne, PA. (HomeNurse merged with Bayada Nurses
in July 2001.) Johnson is a graduate of Albright College in Reading,
PA and Upper Merion Area High School in King of Prussia. She is currently
completing her MBA in Management at Eastern University in St. Davids,
PA. Johnson is a committee member of the Pennsylvania Association of
Home Health Agencies and a member of the Long-Term Care Consortium of
the Main Line.
