Bayada Nurses Announces Opening of Delaware County Visit Office

Media, PA — Bayada Nurses is pleased to announce the opening of a new visit office that will serve Delaware County. The office is located at 1023 East Baltimore Pike, Suite 220, Media, PA. JoAnn Saxby is the Director of the office.

Established in February 2004, the Delaware County Visit Office is Medicare certified. The office will provide intermittent skilled visits, with services being provided by nurses, home health aides, social workers, physical therapists and occupational therapists. Services will be available throughout Delaware County. The office will accept Medicare, private pay and most insurances.

Although Bayada Nurses has long served residents of Delaware County, the decision to open a visit office that focused exclusively on Delaware County was made to increase and improve the quality of service provided. “To properly serve the needs of Delaware County residents, we felt it was important to have a dedicated visit office in the county,” says JoAnn Saxby, Director. “We wanted to better serve this area and ensure that all Delaware County residents have the opportunity to learn why our employees are called Heroes on the Home Front. We also felt we would be able to recruit employees more effectively and serve them better by having a dedicated visit office in the county.” Bayada Nurses already has an office specializing in extended hour home care in Media. Before the opening of the new office, visits in the county were covered by Bayada’s Philadelphia Visit Office.

Bayada Nurses has job opportunities for nurses, home health aides, therapists and social workers. The benefits of working in home care include one-on-one patient care, flexible hours, and the ability to work close to home. “We offer wonderful opportunities for health care professionals looking for meaningful work with flexible hours,” says Saxby. “We also offer rewarding opportunities for nurses who want a change from the frantic pace of working in a facility.”

Founded in 1975 by J. Mark Baiada, Bayada Nurses is an independently owned home health care agency that employs more than 8,000 RNs, LPNs, home health aides, social workers and therapists working from more than 90 offices in 15 states.
