RI - Bayada Nurses is pleased to announce the
appointment of Stephanie Barrette as the new director for the Bayada Nurses
Providence office.
Established in January 1998, the Providence office provides a broad spectrum
of skilled nursing, personal care, support, therapy, and rehabilitation
services to residents of Providence, East Providence, North Providence,
Cranston, Warwick, Barrington, Bristol, Pawtucket, and North Kingstown.
One of Barrette's first priorities is relocating the current office in
East Providence to a more central location in Providence. This move is
slated to occur in April 2001.
As the new director, Barrette brings many years of experience in long-term
care with her. Most recently she was the Executive Director and Administrator
of the Beechwood Assisted Living and Health Center in Providence. Prior
to that, she was the Administrator and Director of Nursing Services at
Edmund Place Health Center in East Providence. In both these positions,
she was instrumental in directing the start-up of assisted living and
skilled nursing facilities.
Barrette received her MS in Health Services Administration from Salve
Regina University. She also went through the Nursing Home Administrator
Program at the University of Rhode Island and is a Registered Nurse (RN).
