Bayada Nurses Opens Office in Asheville

Asheville, NC - Bayada Nurses is pleased to announce the opening of its newest North Carolina office in Asheville. Linda Piercy, an Asheville native, has been appointed as Service Director.

Established as a recruiting branch in August 2002, the Asheville office will soon be licensed by the state of North Carolina. Currently operating as a branch of Bayada's Hickory, NC office, the Asheville office provides a broad spectrum of home care services-including skilled nursing for pediatrics and adults, rehabilitation services, and personal care services. The services are offered to the entire Asheville metropolitan area-including Buncombe, Haywood, McDowell, Yancey, Mitchell, Transylvania, Henderson, Polk, and Rutherford counties. The Hickory office is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), licensed in the state of NC, and approved by Medicaid.

Piercy has extensive experience working with disabled and older clients who need care. She worked in assisted living communities for 23 years, specializing in marketing, management, and recruiting. Piercy has a degree in radiology and has attended numerous courses in marketing and management throughout her career. She lives in Asheville with her husband, Jerry.
